Barcelona is one of the most cosmopolitan capitals in Europe. Visitors from all over the world look for culture, design, history, art … and innovation.
It is much more than just a conventional interpretation device. With the simple gesture of putting on smartglasses and thanks to virtual reality in 360º we can travel to Barcelona’s most splendid past. See what life was like in Plaça del Rei, the difference between the Plaça de Sant Jaume of the time and now, admiring buildings and areas that are no longer there or eyewitness the construction of the Santa Maria del Mar Church. However, the uniqueness of the experience lies in the fact that you will be surrounded by the atmosphere of 700 years ago. Look around and see the daily routine and situations with characters of the time, who will even interact with you!
Besides the 360º virtual reality reconstructions through 3D infographic recreations, the immersed augmented reality will provide the tourist with additional information about the Cathedral of Barcelona and will take us to know the Roman Barcino. In a guided tour of 2 hours the user will travel centuries back to visit a different Barcelona.
With Past View Ancient Barcelona you will visit one of the main areas of the city, the Gothic Quarter, in a very special way: Traveling to the past. The starting point will be in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, in the Palau Dalmases. At each stop of the tour called “360 Virtual Recreation” visitors will be moved to a time when a historical character will accompany us. They will show us the buildings, how people lived, customs or clothes. These points are complemented by additional content in 360º and with immersed Augmented Reality that will provide you with more information in a didactic and enjoyable way.
